The Dublin Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (DSPCA) is a registered charity, established in 1840 to prevent cruelty to animals and is now Ireland's largest animal welfare organisation.

Hi there, my name is Hugo and I’m a 1-2 year old large mixed breed. I was found straying alone, very under weight with sores on my ears and my legs and my eye was so bad that the DSPCA vets had to remove it. I came into the shelter in early February. I am so much happier now and I’m ready to find my new home. I keep my kennel very clean and I always welcome staff with a big cuddle. I a lively boy with lots of energy. I can get a little over excited but because I’m so clever I take correct really well :o) I’m a big sweetheart and extremely affectionate. The staff here just love me
