The Dublin Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (DSPCA) is a registered charity, established in 1840 to prevent cruelty to animals and is now Ireland's largest animal welfare organisation.

Hi there my name is Gerogia and I’m a 7-8 year old Boxer. I was rescued from the pound by the DSPCA inspectors last year. I was very underweight and very sick and the vets weren’t sure if I would make it. I was rushed into emergency surgery to remove my uterus as it was dangerously infected and I’ve been happy ever since! I have spent the past few months out on foster with a lovely couple and their big Husky and I had a wonderful time. Sadly they couldn’t keep me forever, and I am now back in the DSPCA looking for a new family to take me home and give me the retirement I deserve.

My face may be grey and old, but my heart is pure gold :)
